Re-Imagined Dreams
Re-imagined Dreams, is an evocative and multilayered installation designed in collaboration with Sabari Majumdar and Asha Projects, a London based charity working to rehabilitate survivors of forced marriage . It was commissioned and exhibited by the Southbank Centre, London, for the Alchemy Festival 2012.
Arising out of a series of storytelling and design workshops, the piece depicts a collaborative reinterpretation of a famous South Asian folktale “A Flowering Tree’. The installation uses a dynamic play of light, texture and sound, engaging varied audiences with stories of renewed hope and aspiration.
My role: Workshop leader, sound design, lighting
